MUCH MORE THAN JUST AN EFFICIENT
COMMUTER OPTION . . .
IT'S LIKE HAVING YOUR OWN PLANE!

Thanks for visiting our website to learn more about how your commute to and from New York City can be a more productive and comfortable experience. This unique alternative might even be fun and be a trip you will look forward to. Plus, you can take advantage of an exciting value added opportunity so please read on.

OVERVIEW

Our company, PLANE LOGIC, INC., builds and manages cooperative ownership alliances that offer individuals and small businesses the advantages of safe, on-demand, personal and private air transportation without the burden of the high cost of overhead and infrastructure. We propose a similar arrangement for those in our area of western New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania that want to trade their bus, train or car ride for a comfortable and safe trip into and out of New York City. Unpredictable traffic delays, crowded coaches, lack of parking, and the many annoying distractions can be a thing of the past while at the same time you will be able to maximize productivity and enjoy a higher quality of life.

This program offers members a very attractive commuter option and actually opens new possibilities for travel well suited for you and your family and friends. As a member of this alliance, other aircraft can be made available for travel to the Jersey shore, to business meetings in other cities, to your weekend getaway, or any destination you choose. And since it is transportation designed to serve only the members, you decide when and where you want to go and return! It's as close to private aircraft ownership as you can get, but without the associated high costs. Finally, a level of safety, efficiency, and courteous service is now within reach!

YOUR COMMUTER ADVANTAGE

Let's speak specifically about the commuter option that we propose. The aircraft will be based at Sky Manor Airport in Pittstown, NJ, which offers plenty of free and secure parking just steps from the plane. We will also operate flights from both Lehigh Valley International Airport and Queen City Airport, each conveniently located for Pennsylvania commuters. The trip is approximately 25 minutes to the Skyport located at East 23 rd Street and the FDR Drive in Manhattan where public transportation is available as well as taxis. Other New York City landing sites are being studied, including Jersey City, Hoboken, Weehawken, and the Hudson River. Service to Philadelphia is also feasible with a seaport located in the Delaware River.

We propose morning flights to the city and evening flights to Sky Manor Airport and/or Allentown. Guided by the level of participation, convenient operating schedules will be developed that meet the needs of each member. It is important to understand that the transportation is aboard an amphibious aircraft and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules, and common sense, prohibit water landings and take-offs in darkness. The aircraft and crews are certified to operate in instrument conditions however there are no instrument approach procedures available for water landings anywhere in the world. Take-offs and landings in the dark at Sky Manor Airport or Allentown would not be not affected.

Some situations that could impact operations include river ice flows that could damage the aircraft, severe weather conditions, abnormally high seas, FAA airspace restrictions, and very infrequent and unanticipated maintenance issues. The aircraft is maintained to and exceeds the highest FAA standards with all routine service scheduled so normal operations are not affected. The aircraft will not operate at any time in an unsafe condition or environment as determined by the captain who is always in charge of the flight operation.

FAA regulations require “scheduled” or “charter” aircraft operations to follow very complicated and costly procedures that demand high levels of paperwork and administration. Since this alliance is neither a “scheduled” or “charter” business, we are able to operate the aircraft at or above the standards mandated by the FAA but without the high cost of regulatory red tape and bureaucracy. This alliance, which is a Limited Liability Company, would operate under FAA Part 91 rules that require high levels of aircraft maintenance and inspections as well as regular and recurrent training for the flight crews. Under this rule, the aircraft cannot operate by published schedules and cannot offer “walk-up” transportation to anyone that does not hold a position in the LLC. Only members, or their designees, may enjoy the benefits of shared ownership and the aircraft will operate at the times that best meet the needs of those members.

You can expect a convenient and easy to use website that will allow you to view capacity available and the proposed departure time either to or from New York Skyport. A few keystrokes and you are all set. Just arrive at the proposed departure time, board the aircraft, and sit back and enjoy the ride! The short flight can be a great opportunity to just relax and enjoy the view or review some last minute work. Our concierge service will even handle local errands and chores such as laundry and dry cleaning drop-off and pick-up, auto service, etc.

YOUR MEMBERSHIP ADVANTAGE

The amphibious aircraft used for the commuter service is tailor made for the convenient seaplane terminal, but it can also land at almost any airport anywhere; it is your choice of where and when you want to go! Your membership also allows you to migrate into another aircraft that might be better suited for a business trip where a water landing is not required. The aircraft are available to reserve at anytime, 24/7/365, and as a member you enjoy the many privileges and advantages of on demand private transportation.

Most importantly, our aircraft can operate at literally thousands of airports. Your productivity can increase when we land near where you actually want to go which could include an airport served by the airlines. The inconvenience and discomfort of conventional airline travel and the near zero levels of productivity can be just a memory! Imagine how simple a business trip could be if you eliminated airport check-in, long and tedious security lines and then unpredictable departure and arrival times at an airport miles from your actual intended destination! Have breakfast at home, arrived relaxed and fresh at your meeting, return and enjoy dinner at home with the family! No need to spend the night in a hotel so you can waste the morning and go through the airline hassles all over again! How about treating the family to a Saturday matinee in New York? Load ‘em up and we are on our way and you are back home in time for dinner. Check out our website www.PlaneLogic.com and see why we say, “It just makes sense to use Plane Logic!”

THE COST

OK, so now you say, “uh huh, how much?” Understanding that our proposal is for safe, fast, and convenient commuter transportation with very high levels of service to and from New York City, we ask that you understand this is not the equivalent of cattle car mass transportation aboard buses to and from the Port Authority experience. While that option is reasonably priced with some level of dependability, we all have our stories of why we seek other options. Perhaps you would be interested in sedan service to Manhattan? A very reputable local car service company currently charges $292.11 one way in a sedan for service from Clinton to Manhattan. That car is of course subject to unpredictable highway and tunnel congestion. By joining this alliance, your opportunity for highly efficient transportation solutions designed for you, your family and associates also becomes available. This value-added service is very attractive even if you seldom use the commuter advantage.

The costs associated with aircraft ownership are quite high: aircraft acquisition, maintenance, insurance, fuel, hangar storage, flight crew salaries and recurrent training, administration, and day to day operational expenses. For an individual or small business, these costs are inefficient, and in many cases, prohibitive. In a shared ownership program, the members divide the costs and make it much more feasible to enjoy the same safety and convenience as single ownership. The shared ownership theory works quite well when there are enough members sharing the costs proportionate to use and each can enjoy the efficiencies of having a professionally managed and operated aircraft available on demand at a very reduced cost.

We propose a Limited Liability Company with an initial membership of eight (8). If additional members seek to participate, another LLC would be formed along the same lines as the initial one. These eight will permit adequate capacity and reasonable costs to each member. The following participation breakdown illustrates the cost per position:

•  Initial membership deposit (an annual fee)
$4,500
•  Monthly dues
300
•  Monthly unit purchase
1,200

To illustrate, if you used the aircraft only for commuting to and from New York City, and you made ten (10) round trips/month each month in one year, your actual cost per round trip would be $197.50.

But your cost savings become dramatic when the commuter advantage solution is combined with having a professionally managed aircraft available to you on demand to go almost anywhere, anytime! By taking advantage of this program, your airplane is at your service, plus you can enjoy a safe, productive, and comfortable commute to and from New York City with very high levels of service and amenities for about $120 round trip.

“But wait,” you say. “This is quite a bit higher than my 20 trip bus commuter ticket (currently $22.33 round trip).” And yes, you are correct, but let's compare apples with apples. Even the private sedan service sitting in traffic and taking a minimum of one hour would cost nearly $300, one way!

But as we have said, the value of this proposal extends further than the convenience and efficiency of your commute. This is an opportunity to have a private aircraft at your disposal at almost any time without the very high cost of individual ownership.

THE AIRCRAFT

Well suited for the mission we have suggested, the Beriev Be-103 is a twin-engine amphibious aircraft that has shown excellent flight characteristics as well as superb water operational performance and comfort.

The two Continental engines provide safety and are among the most proven and reliable engines in the general aviation market. The cockpit features modern state of the art instrumentation and navigation systems and the aircraft is certified to operate in instrument conditions. Several leading general aviation magazines have featured the aircraft and described it as a very functional aircraft well designed for land and water operations.

The passenger cabin comfortably seats four to five passengers and entry and exit is quite easy for ground or water access.

The Beriev Be-103 is a product of the Beriev Design Bureau in western Russia, a company with nearly 80 years of experience designing amphibious aircraft. In partnership with KnAAPO, the manufacture of the famous Sukhoi Su-27 fighter jet, Beriev gives us a highly reliable, comfortable, and safe and efficient aircraft that offers this exciting opportunity for our members!

DEFINITIONS

Initial membership deposit is an up front fee that helps fund fixed operating costs of the aircraft such as required inspections, insurance, administrative costs, etc. The fee is due annually and subject to adjustment according to costs.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Each member of the alliance pays a monthly dues payment that helps fund on-going operating costs and reserve accounts for future upgrades and maintenance contingencies. The dues are subject to adjustment according to costs and extraordinary maintenance costs could cause a special assessment if the contingency account is not adequate.

Additionally, to cushion the effects of fluctuating fuel costs, a fuel surcharge is charged to each member according to the following formula:

The number of units used in the month x the average fuel cost variance above $4.00/gal at Sky Manor Airport x 20. To illustrate, if the average cost per gallon for the month was $4.25 and the member used 12 units in the month: 12 x .25 x 20 = $60 surcharge in addition to monthly dues.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

A “unit” equals 1.0 hour of operating time and is calculated in tenths of an hour. A one-way trip to or from New York or Philadelphia and Sky Manor Airport is ½ unit. For trips other than to or from New York and Philadelphia and Sky Manor Airport, aircraft instruments measure the actual operating time. The cost per unit is $120 and the minimum monthly unit purchase is ten (10). 20 units are $115/ea, 30 units are $110/ea. A member may rollover a maximum of two (2) units per month.
